S Illinois | Correct on the payment timing. Marketing year price runs from Sept 1 until Aug 31 for corn and beans. So for 2025 crop/25 marketing year, the average price has roughly 2.5 months left. But with a higher % sold in the first 6 months, a good approximation for the final 2025 price can be had. As of June 11, the corn average stood at $4.15 and for soybeans it was $10.40.
