You need to get the memo that the good lord is sending. There are storms with rainfall running across the main corn/soybean production areas dropping inches per week. Free of charge, no irrigation needed. If you are still dry after all of this then quit trying to raise crops that weren’t intended for that environment.

Maybe this weather and market combo is what it will take to get acres out of production that don’t belong in production.

So what you are saying is the corn and soybean areas need to grow bog crops? Like cranberries and rice? I mean everyone from there, including you, curses the rain and prays for fire bringing drought constantly.

Meanwhile corn and bean genetics have surpassed small grains genetics in drought tolerance so I'm not sure what you're point is.

20+ tons an acre beats 4 tons.

However I will say this: YOU NEED TO BUY LIVESTOCK. THAT WAS YOUR MARKET THAT LEFT YOU WHEN YOU LEFT IT.
