west-byGod-Pa. | About a year ago, I stopped by McDonalds drivethru for coffee. The lady who took care of me must’ve been a visiting supervisor or such: I just knew she was not regular. Anyway, I watched her start a fresh pot. What she did was put my cup directly under the fill-spout, so I got the first brew out of the pod. I was amazed at how good it was. I was very appreciative that she did not make me wait for the entire brew cycle. I purposefully went back over the next few days, wanting to thank her for that experience, but I never saw her again.
Decades ago, on a trip to Canada, I got introduced to Tim Horton coffee: oh, my gosh: it was so good. Eventually we got a Tim Horton’s outlet near us. I went there frequently. One day, coffee did not taste right: same thing each time after that. Found out that Tim Horton’s had been bought out by a venture capitalist. He cheapened the coffee & ruined it. He combined Horton’s with Burger King. Did not improve BK’s coffee in the process….. | |
