Subject: RE: White's boots, question for those who had them rebuilt

Oklahoma
Looked at White's once. I have long flat narrow feet and had heard good things about them. What stopped me was the cost of the rebuild. Seemed like they quoted me $75 for new soles plus shipping to them and back. When I asked the gal what all they rebuilt she just indicated they would rebuild from there and the cost went up. I figured I could buy a new pair of HH for the cost of a rebuild and she wouldn't comment on how long between rebuilds. Obviously it depends on your useage.

So, what does a rebuild cost? How long does it last assuming daily wear on concrete, dirt, some mud and manure? For example, I usually get about a year and half out of my HH before the sole or the side goes out. What is that going to run roughly cost wise?

Thanks
