This has been discussed before. I offer my suggestion-that worked for me: British MARMITE. A black goo made from yeast that comes in a small black glass jar with a bright yellow plastic screw-on lid. Very salty. Loaded with B vitamins. One teaspoon-60 seconds-end of cramps.
I have no idea how I got on to it. I used to be able to get it locally but stores have diminished import items a great deal here: likely need to find it on the internet. I had a job years ago, part of which was dragging huge wet tarps up the sides of large piles of topsoil just when I would fall asleep, I would go into unreal leg cramps that would leave me screaming….every single night. Marmite stopped it. Now I use Magnesium Glycinate for nutritional reasons, but do not get leg cramps.
