Yes, White's are custom made you put on your sock(s) draw an outline of your foot and they are made to fit your foot shape. If you have flat feet or high arches, etc.. tell them about that too so they will build the boot to match your foot.  I don't have a pair but my Dad swore by them. He had 2 pair and the boots lasted him 20 some odd years. Obviously they are totally rebuildable. (most all his life, Dad wore 2 pair socks, light weight pair and heaver pair over the top, his feet sweat allot)

White's are an "investment" vs: just a cheap pair you buy wear out and toss. The thing I look at is $$ per year miles walked and correct posture when walking/standing etc.

If work consists of basically sitting in a tractor seat most of the year, the $$ per mile walked will be higher. If you really are on your feet a lot of the year, your feet back, etc.. will all feel better.  Its a "right tool for the job" situation.

Kind of like buying a new 4x4 tractor,, you don't go out and look for the cheapest tires you can find to put on it...????
