 Pittsburg, Kansas | Nothing magical about the Mediterranean diet. Just the stuff it recommends causes blood sugar to raise and it has to be covered with additional insulin, either endogenously or exogenous. Either shots of insulin or pills that forces the pancreas to perform (type 2).
It is not rocket science. Just the medical community is set on prescriptions rather than figuring out the root cause and advising accordingly so that it can be managed more by diet and less by prescription medicine.
