Subject: Question for those constantly complaining about the government here

North Central US
Why aren't you on the ballot?

Surely if this administration has ruined every single part of every market and everything is in the toilet any little change at any level would massively help would it not?

Or aren't things bad enough for you to do that?

Surely if you and everyone around you is on the brink of losing your and their farms, houses, and businesses, one of you would stand up and at least try to fix it and be voted in at any level easily?

Or is this like livestock where everyone has an excuse ready to go of why they can't do it?

Some of you openly admit to repeatedly giving money to various political organizations instead of running. My state this election round literally can not find enough candidates to run in some places on any side.

It wasn't that long ago we had a governor who farmed while he was governor and he wasn't exactly rich, so your time and money excuses are out.

Perhaps that will be your generations' hard lesson and my generation's to fix: you can't keep throwing money at something and expect it to work. Some things need action by you yourself.

From the checkoffs to the organizations to the regulations to the government itself all have taken the "money will fix it" approach and what has that done to the markets in the last 50 or so years?

Or do we need hard times to make strong men and the weak men from the last good times either need to change or find something else?
