Subject: RE: Field drag from saving wheat seed replicated plot

North Central South Dakota
We often seed at least a portion of our wheat with bin run. This year we ended up seeding all of it from saved seed as last year it was all new certified. We just pull out of bin from last harvest when it's time to seed and have local elevator clean it. We do up population a small percentage to account for them not getting it as clean as seed dealers do. We've never noticed much difference either but do like to keep updating to new varieties every few years.
