North Central South Dakota | Our flex fuel van doesnt quite drop 50% but not far from it, with regular we can get close to 26mpg, with E85 its about 16mpg. So doing the math the E85 has to be almost $1/gallon cheaper or it doesnt pay to use. E30 and E15 lately havent been much discount from regular so those dont often pay to use either. Ethanols biggest downfall is definitely how much worse mileage people get with it. |
