Diesel, narrow front, and cheap may be tricky. I'd say early IH and swap a narrow front on.

Edit to add: Bates Corp will probably have the narrow front you want. Lots of singles laying around as well from the picker era.



That 756 might be a little new for this project, unless I happen to find a cheap one.

How about a 560, are they passable? I narrowly missed buying one of those for $2k.
