Western Oregon | Are you talking an old 3-4 wheel hay turner like a Lely from the 70's? Or something bigger. I would want a wide front. I had a 5 wheel Farmhand hay rake mounted on a 401 Case. Used as a hay rake and turner to just flip with 3 wheels after raking. Just shorten chain on 2 and run 3 wheels. I had a 7' IHC 990 mower conditioner. Case had a great direct start diesel way back then. Brakes weren't any better than a 400 IHC but a lot better diesel engine....James | |
