Cen Ks | We use Classic "here" on non-gmo beans. Typically for spot treating. I've used the .5oz rate in the past. I may have occasionally used the .7oz rate. I don't recall seeing much stunting on beans, at least not compared to Cobra/Blazer! Catch the c-burs before they reach 6" , after that control is difficult. Classic (chlorimuron) is available generic; so cost of the product is competitive. My concern with chlorimuron is the rotational restrictions.
I am planning of experimenting with Basagran this year. C-burs are notorious for multiple flushes. Probably run chlorimuron on first pass, then Basagran next pass. I have some fence rows/field edges that might get multiple applications.
After 8-10 years of growing non-gmo beans, the c-burs are getting increasingly difficult to control. Most of mine start along grass waterways /pasture fences, then move into field.
Good luck!
