I don't think hardly any crops gonna withstand that much wildlife pressure. Maybe alfalfa but sounds almost as if grass and cows at that point is about the only option.


Surprisingly I had around 200 acres of various cover blends this year and very little or no deer damage. Even the fields with Austrian peas were left alone.

Grass or a grass like crop like rice is a possibility. At this point I’ve been told to try anything and see what happens.

The pic is cereal rye, wheat and crimson clover mix.
