Here, it's not counting sprouted kernels, rather low falling numbers. That can be a huge discount in soft white wheat. Last time it was any kind of major issue for me, RMA required that same sample with low falling numbers be sent to a state certified grader in order for an indemnity to be determined. Problem was there are only a couple places in the state that have that capacity and RMA wouldn't just take an elevators word for it. Got to be quite the complication, especially getting that exact sample retrieved! Anyway, that was the problem @10 years ago that got guys pretty uptight...maybe it's been streamlined since then? I'm thinking DON and high VOMITOXIN levels were handled the same way. MPCI has some pretty ridgid requirements when it comes to quality determinations and if not done "by the book" you were SOL.
