Is the long term goal to collect everyone's info and then sell .. Seems like the thing to do lately.. There's a reason ,That unless you want to post on Political section here it's not obvious where it's coming from... Although after a few years most seem to know anyway
Fair question.
The short answer is no. We have no plans to sell user information.
Personally, I’ve spent over 10 years working in ag tech, and trust is a big deal in agriculture. If people don’t trust the platform, it won’t last very long.
Servers, development, and support all cost money, but there are plenty of ways to build a business without selling user data. The goal is to build something useful for the ag community first and earn people’s trust along the way.
I think a lot of people are getting tired of feeling like they’re the product on the larger social networks. |
