Yessir we do have a few shearing crews around I could call. My dad and his cousin also both have a flock of sheep and we all help each other shear currently like you do.


Had a guy from South Africa a few years ago that had sheared sheep. Pretty cool guy. Had been in SA, New Zealand and out west in Utah shearing sheep. He’d won a bunch of contests back home and in NZ for that. Had all his own tools and clothing for it. Drove a planter tractor and combine for me that year.

That’s all I know about sheep! All of the South African guys loved eating lamb and said what we have available in the US is not very good compared to what they have back home.
