Subject: Growing different cover crops for seed

Crawfordsville, Arkansas
Anyone doing this? Not talking about a few acres saved for your own use but a few hundred acres. I know Oregon grows a lot of that type of crop but is there anyone Midwest, northeast, south that’s successful in growing cereal rye, clovers and the like and selling them?

Throwing a few ideas at the wall currently. Our deer pressure is probably higher than anywhere else in the US and typical row crops aren’t working out. Think 90-100 deer in a square mile. And there’s no hunting allowed in this area. Other than natural death and vehicle strikes they just multiply.
