I know a number of people who have gluten intolerance. Most of them grew up on a nasty dirty livestock farm. Most times celiac isn't diagnosed at an early age. It also tends to be familial.
Neighbor gave the wife crap when we withheld gluten from the boy at 5 years old
she is not not able to tolerate gluten sometimes it takes a while to effect some people
I don't seem to tolerate the bread the kids girlfriend was making
