Field Navigator by Farmis has lightbar and mapping functions.
The GPS receiver inside your phone is not accurate enough to be used for any kind of field guidance.
Many apps exist, but they are intended to be used with an external GPS receiver that gets connected to the phone. An external GPS receiver is several hundred dollars.
App for guidance?
