Northeastern Pa.
I'm again trying to find the burr cure. Tried everything ever mentioned on here or by agronomist. I'm actually tired of the battle. Never had issues on the hill ground just along the river. It's an odd weed it really likes certain fields. It likes wet fields and sand too. I haven't been impressed with Peak and the cost vs atz. I did learn ear pinching can be a problem spraying over 30" corn. Calisto has been suggested many times, but chem dealer says don't use it if in the preprogram. I'm trying 20 acres using Halex Gt with atz as late as I can with no pre. I still don't get why more efforts not being taken to find a solution. I took this farm knowing it was an issue. I thought it was because the dairy farmer didn't use any atz do to a corn alfalfa rotation. I have pictures that you wouldn't believe of the spray tractor tangled up with it on a late post spray.
