I just figure it as another cost of doing business. A necessary evil. Our business was 100% cash years ago, now cash makes up less than 10%.
The card companies push the rewards to get you to use them. Every swipe they get a fee and at least 2%.
Consumer pays the fees whether you’re paying cash or card.
