Make sure you're looking at a 1770NT (narrow transport) which many of them are luckily. 

A regular 1770 is a wide SOB going down the road or putting in a shed. 



Hyd drive on a 1770NT is a very simple and reliable option. Row Command is the JD factory clutch, also very solid. Could normally be run by a 2630 or many other JD monitors 

I definitely want the 4 row width during transport, of the NT.


I'd say the trash hydraulic system and amateur toolbar design/welding of the earlier ones are better reasons to have the NT.....    1770NT and 1250 are very very similar bars.
