Oregon | Zelle is a common electronic payment system.
https://www.zelle.com
I use it all the time when the other party has an account with a big bank because my bank has it available on their app. No need to worry about cash, or bank checks, or account #s. Just enter the phone number or email, link the account, send and boom, done. Seller can see the money appear in the in account before turning over the goods. Fast. Easy. Secure.
Now if you think that they are not a legit buyer because they are not asking questions - well, you do not have to worry about it because you do not give them any account info. With Zelle, you do not give them your account # or a routing #. If you have a bank that uses Zelle, all the buyer does is enter your phone number or email and Zelle links the funds to your account.
If you only use a smaller regional bank, they may not offer Zelle. In that case, Venmo is good for up to $60k. and you can see the funds in your account before you turn anything over. | |
