| When corn is $1.50 and you can pick up another .10 or .15 it is a big deal.
Some guys had trouble but I figured my cost to produce a few of those years was under $1.00.
I rented machinery for what the Iowa custom rate for custom work was, plus furnished the parts and labor, so don't say I forgot machinery cost.
The problem was everything had to be paid from cash on hand. Starting out, I didn't have any cash. | |
