I had a Samsung refrigerator much like his. The icemaker quit. It was a lot of money to buy a replacement the icemaker. I started using these old tech ice trays to make ice. When the Samsung quit cooling the freezer I got a new Whirlpool without ice or water spigot. I use the ice trays. Easy to fill and put in the freezer.
