Went ahead and used my DMI rolling (straight bar) basket and was very pleased with the result. Improved the worst spots (light sand) by about 80%. Where there was heavy clay, not much leveling was needed but it improved it some. I don't usually plant beans in tilled ground, but won't be concerned to do this again if needed,
Some of the spots where there was more moisture in the ground the beans just started to emerge, Slowed down a bit and did a few checks and didn't see any damage.
But for the time and fuel it took with the DMI and my IH 986 it was well worth it | |
