What do you mean by 20" sprays easier than 15"? We currently plant all corn with 30" rows and plant all beans on 15" rows with air seeder. We probably need to upgrade both our planter and air seeder in the near future so trying to decide if we should just get a better planter and put all beans in with them or continue using air seeder and upgrade it next. We have planted beans 30" in past but 15 always yields better and is much quicker easier planting with air seeder.


I built a 20" bean planter over 20 years ago. Back when we used a tractor sprayer 18.4 tires could get down the rows for early post. Much easier to spray with the row I think is the meaning.
