| I have a 1200 running my Kinze. Heres things I've found in my 5 years of planting with it. Check your actual planting population! i do it in my gravel driveway. In soybeans, some seed treatment will suck up humidity and stick to the plates really affecting your population. Use LOTS of graphite. Also planting with a strong tailwind in no till will show a higher population by dust blowing up the seed tube. Do you have the rubber guards on your seed meters? Finally if you ever unplug a sensor, you have to unplug and replug everything in, in order to make it accurate. My planter is mechanical, I check my brushes in the bean units every year and have the dealer go through the corn units every other year. My rows are very consistant then, also, you need a half rate option to plant beans under 130,000. Hope this info helps! Another thing to check is the sensitivity level in the monitor which triggers the alarm? | |
