Have done the with the row ripping before and it wasn't fun the next year with the sprayer autosteer keeping it off the row as the tires wanted to follow the unseen subterranean ripper trenches that wandered down the field.
If one put implement guidance on the ripper to better control its position, would think it would work better as it would be similar to guiding striptill.
