Bandsaws are great, but they do need maintenance and adjustment to work correctly and cut straight, and good blades are not cheap. And a rookie mistake can ruin a blade in a heartbeat.
And liquid coolant/lubricant for a bandsaw can be a pita too, like when it starts stinking or runs low.
