Central Illinois - west of Peoria | Already have a Milwaukee 8” cold cut saw that’s about wore out , we do a fair amount of steel cutting and numerous people use the saws. It seems you need to spend $8-900 to get a quality cold cut chop saw and seems like the blades can be easily damaged if one is not careful. There are a few older band saws around with hydraulic feed that can bought reasonably - we have a large Jet at work with hydraulic feed that’s made 1000’s of cuts and still works great. Looks like older Kalamazoo’s and Jets are still pretty desirable….. |
