Our corn is within 3-4,000 of being priced and has been for a long time. If the market takes off in a run, I am prepared to buy back on the board, either live the board or call options. Don’t like to stay open.
Now, we are delivering now. That was about selling the carry and utilizing basis trends. If you are going to survive, think like a grain merchandiser, not a farmer.
I watch more farmers loose than win. Turn $7 corn into $4. Doesn’t feel good. | |
