That's impressive-- I have no doubt it can be done and several do it, but the op said "average". Around here, many guys big and small have 2 or more planters going and get a lot done in a day, but seems on average it takes the more industrious guys 5-7 days per crop (corn and soybeans) and a few days more for the BTO's. Throw in the guys who are just generally slow or the ones who aren't over-equipped or the guys who are broke down a lot or the ones who have a hundred 12 acre fields, I think the average days to get planted is stretched out a little more than the op claims. But I will agree, the planting delay rally is a thing of the past.
