Potential yield can never be increased, only decreased at a faster or slower rate. Right now there is nothing in the immediate future to rapidly decrease potential yield. That may change next week, but for now prices drift lower. Exaggerated declines today probably due to summer weekends. The summer weekend normally includes Friday, so many even up on Thursday. Watch the options.
