Try making it with 10-15 bu wheat. Jon is in the garden of Eden compared to us.
No doubt.. it doesn't rain in the spring anymore.. but by June July.. were catching up.. we're in a "drought with intermittent flooding" 1.8" through April 1st.. 9" the past 2 weeks.. crazy.
For us.. Since 2022 drought began
Wheat yields.. 30 bu, 29. 30, 71 last year.. but some individual fields.. more last year vs three previous combined.
Dryland corn over the same period.. 14.5 bu, 70, 126, and 115 bushels last year.
In 2023 corn basis was $1.50 over.. while wheat.. well today is about 50 under. |
