Not exactly. Because while we do have 8 million acres of irrigation and 21 million crop acres. Which is much closer to third. There are hundreds of thousands of acres of that are irrigated pasture and range. That much or more is irrigated hay and forage.

Also many of Nebraska's top producing countries are in the Platte valley. Decidedly in the drought areas. Many others will be facing lower irrigation allotment as the North Platte is quite devoid of water.
