The corn head will work fine. You might not be happy with the head shelling. As I recall, it needs to be nearly wide open to run the auger flex head and we slow it all the way down when the corn head goes on. If stalks are piling up, might speed it up a bit but always check to make sure it doesn't start shelling too much.
