Im building a battery backup sump pump.

What's your plan?

I tried all sorts of different setups over the years - boat bilge pumps hooked up to a deep cycle 12VDC battery, Basement Watchdog.

About the only thing that worked out decent for me was a 2nd AC powered pump with it's own drain pipe and a gamble on not losing power. That worked for years, but never let me sleep well during a rainstorm.

Over the last few years I have introduced "solar generators" to the mix - EcoFlow Delta 2 is my primary workhorse, but also have a Pecron F3000LFP on standby if needed.
