NE North Dakota
Why is a corn crop that is 4 inches tall to guessing knee high in Iowa already a record? I really wish I knew what you knew at this stage of the game. Personally I can come up with a couple hand fulls of things that can destroy my crop but you are saying 26 is a record already.

I get it’s a futures market and nothing is scaring nor taking yield away currently. But we are 2-4 weeks away from anything happening to it.

The other thing that chaps me is the funds have liquidated 200k contracts. That’s 1 billion bushels. I really wish the physical had to be there to cover the contracts. This paper crap swings it to far each way. They are still holding 750 million in contracts. Could be long ways from liquidated.

The corn crop hasn’t changed one bit the last two weeks. It was as much a record two weeks ago as it is now. So only change is funds. That’s it.

Personally think corn acres are down quite a bit in our area. Not sure anywhere else
