Cat is very cyclical, this run can continue for awhile but I don't think buying a cyclical company at very high historical P/E works out in the long run. Cat's business model hasn't changed because of AI, this is likely a short term push on demand. Apple on the other hand has a better opportunity of AI actually fundamentally changing the company, could be for the better could be for the worse.
