| I'm not exactly sure what you are asking but one of the interesting things i have seen argued is that with everyone just indexing and the market constantly getting passive index flows, and the flows going to market cap weighted stocks, you just have this positive feed back loop of the bigger companies getting bigger by market cap because they are getting proportionally more and more of the fund flows. So in so many words, all these passive flows have at least to a degree appeared to take some price discovery out of the process. It will work until it doesn't. | |
