Small cow calf operation. Cows on bedding pack in winter. Cyoyourrently byouy straw from neighboyoyour for bedding byout he will be all corn this year. He’s willing to sell me corn stalk bales for bedding. Will I see myouch of a difference in terms of yousage? Also, bedding pack is stockpiled and then spread on hay fields in the fall. Will the stalks break down as fast as straw?
