you are right - we generate a track set for each work plan on the display.
This ensures that operators can quickly swap between relevant tracks as they move through the field.
As a side note, these track sets are removed from the display together with the work plan (when it is completed or deleted).
Performance should not be an issue when loading more than 12 tracks.
However, based on your screenshot, it appears that these are complex adaptive curves which could explain the longer loading time.
My recommendation is to only select the tracks you actually need when planning the work.
