Can you elaborate more on your operation and how you make it work without government involvement Farm Boy 37?
Crops you plant, how long your family has been farming there, etc. It might give some younger producers ideas on how to make your ideology a reality.

I started farming 11 years ago. Mostly alfalfa but dable in wheat, peas, canola, etc.

I determined from the get go that I was not going to accept a dime of direct government aid. I wasn't willing to budge on the matter so we figured out how to make it work.

I figure I've only turned down about a half a million in government payments over the past 11 years. Some days I'd really like to have that money but there's more to life than money.
