| By recommendation, I'm reposting the question here, as it's a more specific section.
When working with Work Plans on a Gen5 monitor, the first time the Set Track function is used, the system automatically selects a set of tracks containing all the tracks in the work plan.
In work plans with a large number of tracks (usually more than 12), generating and loading a set of tracks that includes all tracks can be very time-consuming, sometimes taking up to 5 minutes before the Set Track becomes usable.
As a workaround, we currently delete the automatically created set of tracks and recreate it using only two or three tracks, depending on the situation. This significantly improves performance.
My question is: is there any way to configure this behavior in the monitor or in the Work Plan settings, i.e., not automatically create a set of tracks with all tracks?
Furthermore, I would like to submit this as a suggestion for product improvement. It would be beneficial if, by default, the work plan did not automatically select or generate a set of tracks containing all tracks. This would improve usability and reduce wait times when working with multi-lane work plans. Could someone advise me on the best way to send this feedback directly to the John Deere development team?
Thanks
