Coles County, Illinois		We planted 1.75" deep this year and got 3.6" of rain 2 days later. Took 2 weeks to come up but that was mainly because lows of 40 and highs of 60. Last year we had 95 degree weather and 25 mph wind during planting. They all got put in a minimum of 2".
