 Nwmo | Thats good to hear. My dad had an enlarged prostate to the point he was having a lot of trouble urinating. They thought maybe he had a lump through digital exam but couldn't tell for sure. The local doctors told him they wouldn't treat it even if he did have cancer because he was late 70's and his life expectancy wouldnt change that much. He went to Mayo and had a bipolar turp, basically they take the guts out of the prostate and leave the outer shell. He got along great with it, they tested the material that came out and it was negative for cancer. I believe it was Dr. Warner he saw at Rochester. I think they said he did 6 of those surgeries that day, he definitely has the experience. | |
