
| JCBFarmsND - 6/1/2026 08:23 Obviously you don't deal with 20+ inch snowstorms that rival what they get in Buffalo, NY followed by -20 temps for weeks on end, followed by ground blizzards every 3 days so bad it's a full time just to keep roads open to feed and bed. I know it sounds like an excuse to some, but eventually the mental and physical drain gets to be too much. Then deal with the mud from the 100+ inches of snow you got that winter along with an inch of cold rain every 3 days.
How does any of that mean that the federal govt should subsidize grain farming to the point that its profitable for everyone on every acre?
