I use Thunderbird which has a filter that screens out most of my unwanted emails. If an junk emails shows up in my inbox I just click on junk email button and it gets moved out of my inbox and filter future emails from this address to the junk folder.

I am currently changing our personal email address because we signed up with a new internet provider. I didn't think it would take long to make the changes but as I scroll through my emails I am thinking I was mistaken. My dentist, doctor, eye doctor, bank, credit card companies, insurance companies, medicare, church, amazon, family......this list goes on. I am not sure it is worth it.
